Professor Robert Moots Bumper Trials Year
A Liverpool hospital has recruited record numbers of patients for clinical trials that are helping to pioneer new medicines and treatments.
In the last year almost 3,000 patients were involved in clinical trials at Aintree University Hospital in areas including cancer, diabetes, respiratory medicine, rheumatology and musculoskeletal injuries.

Earthquake in Nepal – support for recovery efforts by North West
The North West-based charity Health Exchange Nepal UK (HexN) is liaising with health services in Nepal to plan UK healthcare professional volunteer support in treating people injured by the earthquake. It is anticipated that volunteers will be deployed by HexN over the next few weeks and months.
