Programme Managers Appointed

LHP continues to grow, with 3 new members of staff joining.

A further two Programme Managers will come on board in February and Mark Jackson will be assuming the role of Director of Delivery & Performance from April 2019.

Introducing LHP’s Programme Managers

LHP continues to build capacity around its themes, recruiting a number of Programme Managers to support the Programme Directors.

Paul Burdett – Cardiovascular

Paul Burdett recently started at LHP, appointed to Programme Manager for Cardiovascular research. Paul is a Chartered Management Accountant and prior to joining LHP Paul worked at a number of programme and financial roles within local government authorities, higher education institutions, and commercial organisations.

Elizabeth Collins – Infection

 

Elizabeth Collins starts at LHP in February and will be working as a Programme Manager for Infection and has worked with a range of NHS and educational organisations across North West England for a medical royal college.  Her experience also includes working for the NHS in community and acute settings, as well as on national projects.  In addition to a degree in law, Elizabeth has postgraduate qualifications in development management and is studying for a coaching qualification at present.

Carianne Hunt – Starting Well

Also starting at LHP in February, Carianne Hunt will be working as Programme Manager for Starting Well.  She has previously been working on staff capacity development with the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Research and Care – Greater Manchester (CLAHRC GM). Carrie has a PhD in Organisational Psychology and a Masters in Health Research. She has also led on quality improvement programmes, research and evaluation studies in the quality improvement team at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester Business School and the Modernisation Agency (Department of Health).
