Registration for LHP Grand Round Webinar is Open

We are delighted to open registration for LHP’s second Grand Round Webinar of the 2021/22 series.

Focussing on innovation for the benefit of patients and public, this event on 24th September will be chaired by Prof Eliot Forster, LHP’s Chairman.

Joining Prof Forster will be Dr Victoria Watson, from LHP members the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, who will be presenting on the innovative Liverpool Community HIV Self Testing Pilot. We will also be hearing from Prof Ian Jones and Dr Gabriela Czanner, of our partners Liverpool John Moores University, who will be telling us about the exciting SHOPS-AF project which is finding out if sensors attached to a shopping trolley can help prevent stroke.

In addition, our recently appointed Programme Manager for Innovation, Haku Bhatt, will be telling us more about his role, which is a joint appointment across The Innovation Agency and LHP.

The Grand Round Webinar series has been designed to provide accessible networking opportunities across the region’s academic health science system. Our presenters will be available for questions from the audience as part of a panel discussion, as will members of LHP’s team, including Directors, Programme Managers and LHP SPARK (the Single Point of Access for Research and Knowledge).

To hear more about these important innovation projects for patient and public benefit in this area and beyond, meet the LHP team and learn more about how we might support you, register for this event here. The webinar starts at 12 noon.
