LHP’s first Grand Round webinar
The first of Liverpool Health Partners’ (LHP) Grand Round Webinars took place via Zoom on Friday 16 April 2021 1200-1300.
Chaired by our Chief Executive, Dawn Lawson, the event was an opportunity to communicate across our LHP system about partner projects, with opportunities for participants to network in areas of shared interest. LHP utilised feedback from its STOP COVID Webinar series in 2020, the focus of the first event complemented LHP’s newest programme, Neuroscience.
It included contributions from LHP Programme Manager, Jade Thai, concerning progress she and Programme Director, Conor Mallucci, had made in developing the Neuroscience and Mental Health programme, in addition to their plans for the coming year.
We were also delighted to be joined by Richard Shaw of Liverpool Head and Neck Centre, who presented on head and neck surgery during COVID19, in addition to Lynn Owens and Paul Richardson of Liverpool Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Centre for Alcohol Research (LCAR). Paul’s presentation focussed on alcohol admissions, harm and the BASIS study, whilst Lynn presented on Alcohol Related Brain Injury in Liverpool.
Participants said they found the topics covered during the webinar to be interesting and several commented that it was a useful forum for collaboration. A recording of the webinar is available below.
A quarterly event, the next Grand Round Webinar will take place from 12-1pm on Friday 24th September and will focus on innovation. For more information and to register follow the link here
