Making Liverpool A Child-Friendly City – How can we build upon what key partners are already doing?

Friday 21st May 2021, 11am-1pm

This is the second online multi-sectoral event exploring how individuals, organisations and services across the city work together to transform Liverpool into a city that actively and positively promotes children’s rights and wellbeing.

In this event, we invite organisations and services to reflect on the range of initiatives they may already have in place relating to children, and to consider how these could be improved on and prioritised to respond to the aims and values of the Child Friendly City programme.

The University of Liverpool has already started this process, and will present the range of activities it already offers for the benefit of children in the city. We will then discuss different ways in which young people can be involved in evaluating, prioritising and improving these activities with a view to making improvements in children’s lives that are concrete and relevant.

The session will be of particular interest to local partners and organisations that are either actively involved or would like to join in with the co-production of the Child Friendly City action plan in response to the changes that children and young people have raised.

To attend, please register here and share with others. If you would like to present details of the work your organisation already does for children in the city, please contact Helen Stalford at the University of Liverpool (stalford@liverpool.ac.uk)
